5-EAPB or (1-(benzofuran-5-yl)-N-ethylpropan-2-amine is the next generation benzofuran to replace the recently banned series of benzofurans (APB’s) within the UK. Chemically speaking, 5-EAPB is a close comparison to the popular 5-APB instead having an N-ethyl group. This means that it is extremely similar in action, with some subtle differences. Based on the chemical resemblance to 5-APB it is assumed that 5-EAPB would also act as an entactogen and stimulant like compound, acting upon the 5HT2C receptor as a full agonist as well as possessing a triple monoamine re-uptake inhibition.
